  • Go to ads.reddit.com
  • From the left menu click on “Catalog” and next click on “Create Catalog”
  • Finally click on the highlighted link as shown in the image below to download a sample feed.

Creating Magento 2 Reddit Product Feed

Configure the general module settings.

Go to Admin Panel and navigate to “Scommerce>Manage Product Feed List” from the left menu.

Click on Add Feed dropdown from the top left corner and select “Add Empty Feed”

In the general section, add the name and URL key of your new feed, select the type CSV/XML/TXT, make sure the status is set to “Active” and select the execution mode from Manual/Automatic. When manual is selected we will have to manually generate the feed from the feed list grid else the feed gets automatically generated via cron.

In the Content section, add the header, content and footer of the feed. You can use insert or update to add or change existing values.

Next, in the format section define the format of price, date and output as per reddits requirement. We will change the price setting to include numbers upto two decimals and the currency symbol alongwith it.

Finally, go to condition section and here you can add several conditions to customise the feed, exclude/include products etc as per your requirement.

Generating the Feed

Once you have completed your new product feed set up, click on save and generate to manually generate the feed. We can also do it from the Feed list grid. Please note this will only work if the execution mode is set to “Manual”. If its set to automatic then feed will be automatically generated based on cron schedule.

To generate the feed manually from grid you can select the feeds from the menu and then use the Actions dropdown to bulk generate multiple feeds together.

Once generated download the feed and inspect to make your it fulfills the requirement.

Submitting Your Reddit Product Feed

Reddit Ads

  • To use your product feed for Reddit Ads, you’ll need to create a Reddit Ads account.
  • Once you’ve created an account, you can upload your product feed to the Reddit Ads platform.
  • Go to Catalog from the left menu and click on Create Catalog.
