In late March 2022, more than 10,000 retail thought leaders, branded manufacturers, startups, investors, media and analysts descended into the heart of Sin City. Arriving at Mandalay Bay Hotel, these eager attendees gathered for the long-awaited ecommerce event of the year: Shoptalk 2022.
After two years of meeting virtually, Shoptalk held its eighth annual retail reunion in-person, inviting industry leaders from around the world to learn, collaborate and create the future of retail — and BigCommerce was thrilled to get in on the action.
With over 250 speakers, 600 sponsors, 80 sessions and 20 parties, the conference was packed full of opportunities to discover the latest ecommerce innovations and build brand awareness in the post-pandemic world.
Both small businesses and large enterprises came together to learn from industry experts such as Kath McClay, CEO of Sam’s Club, and Ken Worzel, COO of Nordstrom, as well as BigCommerce tech partners Vertex, PayPal and more.
In addition to sessions and speakers, attendees had the chance to schedule a meeting or onsite demo with ecommerce experts at our booth to learn how BigCommerce can support their brand’s growth with our platform.
Here’s a little glimpse into how BigCommerce turned heads in the city of lights:
BigCommerce Hits the Green with DeckCommerce and ShipperHQ
With Shoptalk getting back into the swing of things in-person, BigCommerce decided to team up with Deck Commerce and ShipperHQ for an After Hours Party at Topgolf Las Vegas. Our 50 guests enjoyed networking with merchants and prospects, signature cocktails and food and a longest drive competition with fun prizes.
But the fun didn’t stop there — during the day, BigCommerce hosted in-booth activations, including BYOAcai Bowls with Bloomreach and Vue Storefront and a martini happy hour with Omnisend, as well as a multi-storefront launch featuring BigCommerce merchant Ted Baker.
Our onsite team was thrilled to connect with so many retailers and partners and bring our brand to life. Thank you to all who attended and stopped by our booth — we look forward to seeing you at our next event!
For those who were unable to attend, you can still sign up for a demo here and meet the flexible, open SaaS platform that gives you the freedom to innovate and scale—your way.
